Rex-1 FTA Satellite receiver is a small footprint set top box but let me tell you this little box packs a pretty good punch for the money. The receiver does not have blind search so you will have to enter those new transponders in the future but it is very fast and accurate. The memory boasts 2 mb rom and is extremely fast. On the back side there is duel audio out also. It has been a couple of months since I used the receiver and I lost my notes on signal lock which I remember was better than most of the USA market receivers, I will have to clarify my findings when I get another unit in.

Two Versions are available on the Rex they are both identical except the front bezel, one has a large bezel like the one above or a smaller rectangle display window.
It has Beep!!! This is the only FTA receiver in the USA market that I know of that has a signal quality audio beep. While tuning your dish you do not have to yell anymore " Honey you got signal " just turn up the volume on the TV.
